In the last couple of decades, Berlin has become a mecca for party-goers, offering an exciting nightlife for electronic music fans from all over the world. And witness to this newfangled vocation of the German metropolis is the Fernsehturm’s multifaceted sphere, a giant disco ball hovering in the middle of the city.
The clubs hostingthe parties have gained lately more and more importance and gone mainstream, as a possible according of the Unesco World Heritage status shows. The fact that they find their origin in the underground culture makes them interesting objects to study, they are unusual places that arise many questions, as their designs may not follow a pure rational thinking.
